Our one acre site is set within an organic mixed farm on the edge of the Hampshire Downs and is situated in a stunning location overlooking rolling countryside.
As well as trees, wild bulbs and wild flowers are planted each year and the area is maturing into an ideal location for those looking for a peaceful resting place. The site is situated between two existing woodlands creating the perfect link allowing nature to flow from one habitat to the other.
Ibworth Woodlands are pleased to welcome people of all faiths and beliefs, as well as secular or non-religious ceremonies.
Natural burials are a sympathetic and environmentally friendly alternative, we believe our final resting place should leave little impact on the environment and be protected for the future.
We offer both interment of ashes and full burials at Ibworth Woodlands. We can’t allow memorials or plaques in the woodlands, but instead we plant suitable local species of trees and wildflowers to become a living, breathing organic memorial for visitors and wildlife.
Ibworth Woodlands is a member of the Association of Natural Burial Grounds (ANBG), in keeping with their code of practice we accept all types of biodegradable coffin, casket or urn. Our team are here to help you and discuss the various choices.
